Dutchess County NY

Dutchess County NY is located between the Hudson River and the New York-Connecticut state line.  This county has eight parks along with three nationally protected areas; Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site, Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site and Vanderbuilt Mansion National Historic Site.  In Dutchess County, the taxes on real estate are generally lower than adjacent counties.  The Metro North Railroad Harlem line makes stops at stations throughout the county along with the convenience of I-84, Route 22 and the Taconic State Parkway, makes this area ideal for commuters into lower Westchester and New York City.
